Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Minister: Kim, Myung-Gon) and co-organized by KOCCA and Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE, Chairman: Shin, Hyun-Taek), DICON 2007 was held at COEX, Samsung-dong, Seoul.

The two-day conference was participated in by cultural-technology specialists from Korea and other countries, who shared information regarding this next-generation driving power in an era characterized by the fusion of broadcasting and communication, based on the theme "Converging Media: Content Business Strategies".

"Since its first conference in 2001, DICON has advanced to become the cultural-contents conference in Asia", said Suh, Byung-Moon, CEO of KOCCA. "We hope that DICON will play the role of a gateway for cultural contents in Asia, and will make inroads into foreign markets".
