Director Kim Jee-woon and YG to Create Webtoon-Based Drama "Dr. Brain"

Director Kim Jee-woon is teaming up with YG Studioplex to create a webtoon-based TV drama.

According to sources, Kim is going to dramatize "Dr. Brain", a medical mystery thriller about a genius brain doctor who accesses the brains of dead people.

Kim Jee-woon had confirmed his involvement a while ago, but hadn't found the right production until recently, when YG Entertainment's subsidiary company, YG Studioplex, decided to officially join the team.

It's news alone that the "A Tale of Two Sisters", "The Age of Shadows" and "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" director will be working on a TV drama. He is currently engaged in a project called "Cloud 47" produced by Canal+ in France.

Variations will follow depending on which drama he gets started with first.
