Director Kim Ki-duk's 14th film, "Breath", has been sold to 10 countries even before it has finished filming.

According to Cineclick Asia, "Breath" was the focus of attention at the European Film Market of the Berlin International Film Festival held between February 8 and 18. Currently in the latter part of filming, "Breath" has already been sold to Spain, Brazil, and Russia. If existing buyers of Kim's works--Italy, Mexico, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Israel, and Turkey--are included, the number of countries that purchased "Breath" amount to ten.

The film is a love story about a woman who falls into despair after witnessing her husband's affair, and a man on death row. The leading female character is played by Park Ji-ah and the death row inmate by Taiwanese star Chen Chang of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Korean actor Ha Jung-woo plays the husband.
