Director Kim, Ki-Duk to appear on "Debate for 100 Minutes" to talk about The Host

Director Kim, Ki-Duk will appear on MBC's Debate for 100 Minutes and talk about his opinion on The Host's box-office success in Korea.

Scheduled on Aug. 17, 12:10 AM, Debate for 100 Minutes, with the tentative theme, "The Host Syndrome: Is it Good or Bad for Korean Films?", will flesh out the current situation of the Korean film industry, which now caters to a theater audience of 10 million.

Regarding this trend, Kim had earlier expressed his sadness during the preview of his new film, Time, saying that The Host is a film that lowers the level of Korean films and Korean audiences a controversial statement that made the Debate for 100 Minutes a deeply anticipated TV event.
