Kang Chul-ung, director of the nude play 'Professor and female student2', reveals why he had to strip off almost 200 actresses on cable TV CHview 'My True Story', Feb. 8, 11 p.m.
He have worked in the field for decades, undressing Playboy magazine model Lee Pa-ni, Miss Korea Cha Su-jung, nude model Um Da-hae and other some 200 actresses in auditions.
In the documentary, he honestly discusses his plays, movies and life, while also explaining why he had to produce erotic plays and what his 'freedom of expression' is for him.
He also discusses work and sex with Prof. Ma Kwang-su of Yeonsei University, who is an authority on eroticism literature. The documentary also features how the 3D effect was managed in 'The Professor and the Female Student2' and what kind of person he is for actresses.
In the 1990s he was arrested for performance obscenity in his play 'The Last Try', where an actress acted naked, for the first time in Korea and was sentenced to two years in prison. The sentence was suspended for two years. However, his following plays such as 'The professor and the Female Student' and 'I Like Sexy Woman' were a success. His most recent play 'The professor and the Female Student2' performing in Hansung Art Hall also seems to be big hit.

그는 수십 년 전부터 연극을 제작하며 여배우들의 옷을 벗겨왔는데 플레이보이잡지 모델 이파니, 미스코리아 출신 차수정, 누드모델 엄다혜 등의 배우뿐만 아니라 오디션을 통해서 200여 명의 배우가 강철웅 앞에서 옷을 벗었다.
다큐멘터리에서 그는 자신의 연극, 영화 그리고 인생에 대한 모든 것을 솔직하게 드러내며 야한 연극을 할 수밖에 없었던 이유와 그가 생각하는 표현의 자유에 대해서도 밝힌다.
