"Blood Free" Starring Ju Ji-hoon and Han Hyo-joo

The lineup of actors in the new work "Blood Free" by the writer of "Secret Forest" has been completed.

"Blood Free" is a drama that depicts a new era of artificially cultured meat, at a time when bleeding meat disappears from the human table, and begins with people questioning BF's behavior inside and outside, while BF, a biotechnology company that ends millions of years of 'domination' and 'subject peoples' relationships, dominates the cultured meat market.

Ju Ji-hoon, Han Hyo-joo, Lee Hee-jun, Lee Mu-saeng, and Park Ji-yeon-I will join the drama, which is expected to be a new work by Lee Soo-yeon-I, who wrote the "Secret Forest" series and "Life" and "Grid". Ju Ji-hoon plays Woo Chae-woon, a former soldier who graduated from the Naval Academy and an incumbent bodyguard. Han Hyo-joo will play the role of Yoon Ja-yoo, the founder and CEO of BF Group, a cell culture and meat company.

Lee Hee-jun plays Prime Minister Seon Woo-jae. He starts as a secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and rises to the post of prime minister through party activities. Lee Mu-saeng will star in the role of O-san, a founding member of BF Group and general manager of culture fluid technology. Actress Park Ji-yeon-I plays the role of Jeong Hae-deun, BF Group's planning director and lawyer.

"Blood Free" which completed the lineup with trusted actors, will begin full-scale production in the second half of 2022.
