MBC TV drama "Dong Yi" continues to be stiff competition for the primetime lineup on Monday and Tuesday nights, remaining the No. 1 show in the country for the 13th consecutive week.
Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday indicated that "Dong Yi", into its 32nd episode, brought in viewership ratings of 30.8 percent on July 5 and 31.3 percent the next day.
Ratings for the series has increased by an average 1.1 percent compared to the previous week.
Numbers released by AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that the historical series recorded lower ratings -- 26.1 percent on Monday and 27.5 percent the following day.
Meanwhile, SBS' drama "Giant" scored respectable ratings in the 13 to 15 percent mark on both charts.
