Ratings for TV series "Dong Yi" continued to shine, remaining the most-watched television show in the country for the eighth consecutive week.
Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday revealed that the viewership ratings for "Dong Yi" increased by an average two percent from last week.
The historical drama recorded ratings of 25.1 percent on May 31 and 26.6 percent the following day.
Statistics released by AGB Nielsen Media Research showed that the MBC drama brought in a mean of 24 percent on both charts, revealing no change from the previous week.
Meanwhile, the ratings for SBS' series "Giant", about three siblings seeking the revenge of their parents' death, indicated to be fair competition against its Monday and Tuesday primetime rival shows, scoring TV ratings of 16.3 percent on TNmS' polls and 15.1 percent on AGB's chart, respectively.
