The KBS 2TV drama Hwangjin-i (Drama), which has recently begun airing successfully, has been exported to four Asian nations. KBS Media said Friday that it concluded deals to sell the historical drama to China, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

"We cannot reveal the exact export price, but the drama has become the most expensive KBS drama sold to those countries so far", the company said. "And because we keep getting inquiries about the drama from other Asian nations such as Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia, it will possibly be exported to more nations".

Starring Ha Ji-won, the historical drama about the dynamic life of a famous Joseon-era gisaeng (geisha) has been receiving a good response from viewers not only because of the story but also because of the beautiful traditional clothes and scenery shown in the drama.
