Economic Deputy Prime Minister Kwon, Ohgyu visits KOCCA

Kwon, Ohgyu, the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy, paid the office of the Korea Culture & Content Agency (director Seo, Byeonbgmun) in Yeoksam-dong an afternoon visit on the 26th.

The Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Kwon listened to the general briefing on Korea's culture and contents industry titled 'The Trend of Culture & Contents Industry in the Era of Globalization' presented by Seo, Byeongmun, the director of Korea Culture & Content Agency.

He also attended a high-powered meeting with 10 important figures from the culture and contents industry including, Lee Hyun-seung, the CEO of Blue Cinema, Kim Mi-hee, CEO of Sidus, and Kim Il-ho, CEO of Ocon. This meeting was conducted so that the Deputy Prime Minister hears first-hand the issues concerning the industry from the business leaders themselves, related to the 'the 2nd-phase general measure to enhance the competitiveness of the service industry'.

Mr. Kwon also visited game company Nexon and animation firm Ocon to listen to their difficulties and meet with their CEOs.
