Ethnic Koreans Among Us

In 2011, Korea is quickly becoming a multicultural nation. Out of the 1.3 million foreigners in Korea, 500,000 of them are ethnic Koreans from China. Considered both overseas Koreans and foreigners, they have a confusing identity. So who exactly are ethnic Koreans After Korea and China established diplomatic ties in 1992, a rising number of ethnic Koreans headed to Korea, lured by its economic prosperity. It was the beginning of the Korean Rush.

However, by being just as diligent as the Korean workers in the 1970s and 80s, ethnic Koreans are gradually improving their image. And the appearance of a superstar thawed the general public's indifference toward ethnic Koreans.
