Entertainment in 2007 was all about versatility. Fans could watch news anchors dance and sing, while some singers created their own shows and even starred in movies. Among these talented and ambitious celebrities, former G.O.D. members are leading the way toward true multi-entertainment.

Park Joon-hyung-I, Son Ho-young, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn and Kim Tae-woo-I are all former members of the hit five-member pop group formed in 1999 by producer and singer J.Y. Park (also known as JYP), and released hits "To My Mother" and "Lie". The group announced their withdrawal in 2004. While lead singer Kim Tae-woo-I is serving in the military, the other members have gone a long way from their original pop career.

Park, also known as Joon Park in the United States and former leader of the group, has literally crossed borders with his acting. He has already filmed a role in "Speed Racer", directed by the Wachowski brothers (The Matrix), as a Yakuza racer who competes with the protagonist, played by Emile Hirsch. Park also landed a part in the movie "Dragon Ball", which is based on the renowned Japanese cartoon, and is being directed by James Wong (Final Destination). He is expected to play Yamcha with other Hollywood stars, Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum.

While Park is busy abroad, other members of the group are also displaying their acting skills in movies here for Korean fans. Ahn met fans with his new movie "The Longest 24 Months". Coincidence or not, Ahn played a bandleader in the movie, who eventually has to serve the military and leave his girlfriend, played by Jang Hee-jin. He also has a role in "The Shanghai Brothers", which will air in Korea and China later this year.

Son made his debut with his movie "Miss Gold Digger", starring Han Ye-seul. He played Song Hyun-jun, one of Shin Misu's many boyfriends, Han's character. At a press release, Son admitted that it was his first audition since G.O.D. and that he barely made it. His fans will also be able to see him on stage in the musical Singles.

Among the members, Yoon was the first to try out acting. After serving in the military in 2006, he starred in the drama "Loveholic" with Lee Mi-yeon. In "Lovers of 6 Years", (working title) which will be in theaters next February, Yoon will show his romantic side with co-star Kim Ha-neul. He has quite a busy year ahead of him, as he plans to take the lead in yet another drama in February and also a new movie "The Moonlight of Seoul" ("Beastie Boys").

Meanwhile, Kim was quoted by his fellow members saying that he is proud of everyone and will join them as soon as he finishes his military service.
