Ex-KBS Presenter to Donate Wedding Money for South Sudanese Children

Former KBS news presenter Kim Kyung-ran and her groom-to-be, Saenuri lawmaker Kim Sang-min, have decided to donate all of the cash gifts they receive at their wedding this afternoon to help war-affected children in South Sudan, the couple's wedding consultant, iWedding Networks, said.

The donations will be made in the guests' names.

"Kyung-ran has been doing volunteer work and educational activities to support children in South Sudan since 2012, and it has long been her wish to build a school for children there. I support that idea and have come to want to join her", Kim said Sunday in a message posted on his Facebook page.

The couple will be wed in a private ceremony at a wedding hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul on Tuesday afternoon.
