In New York, extra-large 'Korean Movie 60 years' film festival takes place.


Korean movie extra-large 'New Tiger: Korean movie 60 years' takes place from Nov. 12 through Dec. 7 under the auspices of the Lincoln Center, New York, in the United States.

The Lincoln Center, the highest culture institution in New York, established in late 1960s, had been introducing Korean movies recently sometimes by several pieces, but extra-large Korean movie screening event is the first time for this film festival since the Lincoln Center was established in 1969.

At this time's film festival, Korea classic movie golden age's works such as 'Accidental firing bullet' (1961), 'The Housemaid - 1960' (1960), and 'Kim drugstore's daughters'(1963), masterpieces that reflected gloomy phased of the time in the 1980s such as 'A road to Sampho' (1975) and 'Fool proclamation' (1983), and 40 pieces that can see all-inclusive pedigree of Korean movie such as 'A floral leaf' (1996), 'Peppermint Candy
' (2000), 'Silmido' (2003), and "Low Life" (2004), are screened.
