Fantasy of adventure of 'Mimi' and 'Dada'

Animation Production Studio, operated by KOCCA (CEO Seo Byung-Moon) has successfully seen its fruition. First animated film from Animation Production Studio (Director Hong In-Pyo, Kim Yoon-Kyung) will be broadcasted on KBS1 TV on May 5.

The animation is about 'Mimi' and 'Dada' who visited National Museum of Arts for school homework, only to find themselves trapped in it due to breakdown in security system.

The animation maximizes the sense of world-famous paintings and includes various educational and entertainment values. The magnificent screen through HDTV is also noticeable as the animation uses digitalized 'digital cutout method'.

This animation was produced by the production team who participated in industry-academic cooperation program in CCRC (Chungkang Creative Resource Center). It is considered as the model case in industry-academic cooperation program.

KOCCA's Industry Development director Kim Jin-Kyu said that "Animation Production Studio is a one-stop support system that supports necessary budgets, equipments, and environment to produce an animation film". He also added that "other animations from Animation Production Studio will be in spotlight soon, starting from which was produced in a stable environment with in-depth production.

Animation Production Studio picked 2 films in 2005 and 8 in 2006 to give support for production, and 6 animations have gone into production this year.
