Festival Allows Koreans to Enjoy Live Music and Films in 1 Night

A summer festival under way in Gwacheon, just south of the capital, is giving Koreans the rare opportunity to listen to live acoustic guitar AND enjoy a film or two in a single evening.
The guitar performance runs for half an hour starting at eight in the evening and is followed by a screening of one short and a feature film.
During its run, the festival will screen 18 movies, shorts, and animations from 12 countries, including the U.S., Germany and China.
The nine-day-long program now in its fourth year is a huge hit among families.
Organizers say each year the event attracts 20 thousand residents, seeking some cool culture during the sweltering heat.
It's worth nothing that the event is free of charge.
