Film People to Speak Out Against Troops Dispatch

Some 300 actors and other members of the film industry have come out against the sending of South Korean troops to Iraq.
Actors Choi Min-sik, Park Hae-il, actress Chu Sang-mi and others are set to release a statement criticizing the government's decision to send troops to Iraq.
Along with actors, various representatives of film companies, including Kim Kwan-su of Generation Blue Film and Kim Mee-hui of Fun & Happiness Film, have also signed the statement.
The group is expected to hold a news conference at 2 p.m. Thursday in front of Kyobo Building in Kwanghwamun, central Seoul.
