The action blockbuster "Typhoon" (2005) starring Jang Dong-gun and Lee Jung-jae, which was directed by Kwak Gyeong-taek and produced by Jininsa Film, will be premiered in a gala show at the LA Chinese Theater in the United States on May 18.

An official from CJ Entertainment, the domestic distribution agency of "Typhoon", said, "A preview of the film will be held in Los Angeles for three days from May 18 to 20. The number of theaters and the screening period at each theater will be decided after the preview".

"Typhoon" will be distributed by DreamWorks, a major American film production and distribution agency, throughout the United States and Canada. The film is expected to receive many requests for screening rights from a large number of theaters in North America for its spectacular scenes and the high reputation of its lead actor, Jang, who has won wide recognition in the United States for his role in the film "Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War" (2003).
