Finally, it's Detective K!

 

 

Kim Myung-min's latest movie finally gets its official international (English), Chinese and Japanese titles.

MY Entertainment, Showbox and Delight (film's marketing agency) have confirmed that the movie previously known as "Joseon Detective" will now be called "Detective K". Its Chinese title is "名偵探", and in Japanese it's "名探偵". According to a Showbox staff, "K" stands for Korea.

Detective K tells about the adventures of Joseon's top detective (Kim Myung-min) as he investigates, as ordered by the King, a series of mysterious murders that is plaguing the country. During his secret mission, he meets Han Seo Pil (Oh Dal-soo) who eventually becomes his sidekick, and Han Gaek Ju (Ha Ji-min), an influential business woman who is a key figure in the case. As they dig deeper into the mystery, they uncover disturbing secrets that link the murders to a massive conspiracy that will shake the whole nation of Joseon.

The comedy-mystery movie is directed by "Old Miss Diary - Drama" and "Old Miss Diary - Movie" director Kim Seok-yeon. It opens in Korea in January 27, 2011.
