First Step towards the World Stage by Resurrecting Traditional Cultural Content

Four distinguished institutes have joined hands to develop Korean traditional culture such as ancient houses, traditional cuisine and industrial art etc. as cultural contents to develop Korean culture as a world-class brand.

The Korean Culture & Content Agency (Director Goh Seok-Man), The Korean Craft Promotion Foundation (Director Seong Mun-Mo), The Korean Ancient House Cultural Asset Owner Association (Chairman Lee Gang-Baek), and the Institute of Traditional Korean Food (Manager Yun Suk-Ja) announced that they will form an agreement to promote the commercialization of traditional cultural contents on July 21st at 6p.m. at Namsan Hankok Village.

Director Goh Seok-Man of KOCCA said "it will be an opportunity to organically consolidate efforts to promote traditional culture such as ancient houses, traditional wedding cuisine as cultural contents products that used to be made separately"and added that "through commercialization and production of cultural products based on traditional culture, we plan to enhance the competitiveness of traditional cultural contents and to grow our products as world-class brand".
