The government said on Thursday that the updates would be done by August.
The website, which opened in March 2012, explains the government's stance on Dokdo and answers some 15 frequently asked questions. Although there is downloadable data in 10 languages, the website itself is currently available only in Korean.
The government also plans to develop a mobile version for smartphones and tablets.
