Online shopping site Gmarket said Tuesday, "We are being inundated with overseas orders for BTS album packages that also include posters and life-sized photos costing W65,000" (US$1=W1,080).

Album sales at Gmarket have risen 40 percent on-year since it started taking pre-orders for the BTS album on April 18.

The album entered the U.S. Billboard charts at No. 1, and overseas supplies are running out quickly.

Taiwanese fans made up the biggest group of buyers on Korean shopping sites with 20 percent, followed by Chinese and Malaysians at 11 percent.

But overseas buyers also include those from Saudi Arabia and the UAE for the first time.
