This is her fifth mini-album. She used to perform as a solo singer during her days with the group, releasing albums almost every summer. But this album has special significance as she steps out of the group's shadow and looks to establish herself as an independent singer.

"It's regrettable that all the efforts and activities look to be in vain with the demise of the group, but I hope the fans know that all the members of 4minute worked hard for the past seven years", Hyun-a said.

The singer's sexy and somewhat provocative look has drawn a mixed response, but she has tried to show that she is more than just a pretty face and is a devoted singer.

It appears that her efforts are finally paying off, with some of her "anti-fans" having recently become fans. "The reason some of my anti-fans now like me seems to be that they value my growth as a singer", she said. "I'll keep making efforts to grow further".
