From Beijing to Shanghai... Korea Center in Shanghai opens a special exhibition

The Special Exhibition by the Korea Center in Shanghai, aimed at helping the Chinese understand the Korean cultural industry and commemorating the opening of the Korea Center in Shanghai, will be held at the Korea Center in Shanghai from July 12 for two months.

Hosted by the Korean Cultural Institute in Shanghai and sponsored by the Chinese Office of KOCCA, this special exhibition follows the special exhibition held in Beijing, and will showcase various Korean cultural contents and related products.

The exhibition showcases Korean cultural content that has led to the emergence of the Korean Wave in Asia in films, broadcasting, and animation, as well as in related character merchandising.

"I am pleased that we can introduce Korean cultural content in Shanghai, China's primary city, and then subsequently in Beijing", said Kwon, Ki-Yeong, director of the Chinese Office of KOCCA. "This exhibition will help the Chinese greatly understand the Korean cultural industry".
