Pictorials and interviews of actresses were released in the March issue of Marie Clare ahead of the release of "Gender Free Season 3", a video project in which female actors play characters in movies or plays usually played by male actors.

Kim Hyang-gi has been on the project for 3 years and she says she loves the fact that she can participate in the project annually. She believes in a healthy body and mentality to be a good actor, and expressed her desire to become an actor whose body and mind can always circulate in the right direction and recover well in order to capture her emotions well in the future.

Baek Hyun-joo says the attempt to destroy the gender barrier that is taking place in the theatrical world has been a big help for many female actors. She wants to find a character with a story she wants to tell and choose her work.

Shim Dal-gi talked about her interest in Marie Claire's Gender Free project and expressed her desire to continue to be an actor who has admired movies since she was young and who continues to contribute to them.

Actor Woo Jung-won, who continues to show a strong presence in the theatrical world, expressed her opinion that women's characters still need help from men in many works, and that audiences and viewers will be able to change slowly, although they are accustomed to such emotional codes.

Actor Lee Seol expressed her wish to meet a warm piece that can naturally tell a variety of stories, and act, as well as her desire to grow well without having to be helped by others, and lead the story.

Meanwhile, actor Lee Joo-young, who is showing a good performance in "Itaewon Class", said of her current character, "I decided to play the character 'Ma Hyeon-yi' as her own person, rather than being tied to gender", referring to her concerns while preparing for the character.

Jin Seo-yeon, who recently returned as a detective in the drama "Tell Me What You Saw", crossed various genres and revealed her goal as an actor to meet the opportunity to express a wide range of characters, including criminals, detectives, unemployed people and businesspersons.

The full text of the interviews with the eight actresses is available on the March issue of Marie Claire and on its website, and videos of the actresses, who acted out characters in "Waikiki Brothers", "The Unjust", "A Hard Day", "Very Ordinary Couple", "Believer", "Laurence Anyways" and others, will be released on Marie Claire Youtube on the 6th of March.
