Korean band FT Island will be rocking it out with top Japanese artists for a joint concert in September, according to their agency FNC Music on Friday.

According to a representative from FNC, FT Island will be performing at a live concert event, hosted by popular Japanese music magazine "PATI-PATI", to be held at the JCB Hall on September 4.

They will be sharing the stage with top Japanese singers such as CHEMISTRY and RHYMESTER.

FT Island expanded their music career to Japan in 2008 and released their Japanese debut album "Flower Rock" two months ago after signing with Warner Music Japan in early January.

"Flower Rock" entered the prestigious Oricon daily music chart at No. 3 when it was released on May 19 and placed fourth on the weekly chart. The boys gave a free live concert for about a total 5,000 fans in Osaka and Tokyo in May.

The rock band splashed onto the Korean music scene in 2007 with their first album "Cheerful Sensibility". The group has released several hit songs including "Hope", "Love Sick" and "Heaven".

They are currently preparing for their performance for the Zepp Tour next Friday.

CHEMISTRY is a Japanese R&B duo that is well-known for the collaboration song "Let's Get Together Now", for the 2002 World Cup, with Korean singer Lena Park and Brown Eyes.

RHYMESTER is a popular Japanese hip-hop group who made their debut in 1989. They have a huge following with not only hip-hop fans but also rock fans since they have collaborated with famous rock musicians in the country.
