"Full House" Starring Rain and Song Hye-kyo Sweeps Thailand

The KBS series "Full House" has exploded in popularity since it premiered in Thailand June 25 on Channel 7, which is running the series every Saturday and Sunday morning.
The Korea Thailand Communication Center, a firm specializing in Thai tourism and market research, reported on July 27 that "Full House" recorded a market share of 56 percent on July 16 and 63 percent on July 17.
Hong Ji-hee, head of the firm's Bangkok branch, said the series appeals to Thai viewers for its depiction of upbeat emotions and sophisticated production techniques as well as its high-profile cast. Song Hye-kyo is well-known in Thailand for her role in another KBS series, "Autumn in my Heart", and Rain has had a successful promotional tour in that country recently.
