The concert, which took in W4.4 billion in ticket sales, will likely be one of the singer's last in Seoul before he is drafted (US$1=W1,125).

Unable to tear themselves away after the 21-song, two-hour show, the fans launched into an a cappella version of G-Dragon's 2009 hit "1 Year Station" in the dark. After five minutes, the singer returned to the stage and performed a three-song encore including his new track "Untitled, 2014". Although the song was released just three days earlier, the fans knew it by heart and sang it with him.

"I had some tough times making this album, mentally and physically", G-Dragon told the audience. "This may be my last concert [here] before I enlist for my mandatory military service next year".

The concert marked the beginning of a world tour that will take him to eight cities in North America including Chicago, New York and Toronto, as well as 19 other cities in various countries including Australia, Japan and Singapore.
