"Gabi" rates 2nd place after "Helpless"

"Gabi" by director Jang Yoon-hyeon hinted a smooth sail by coming in 2nd in the box office.

According to the Korean Films Commission on the 15th, "Gabi" recorded a ticket sales of 7237 until 8:30PM and made 2nd place.

"Gabi" is about the plot surrounding coffee and King Gojong during the Korea Royal Refuge to the Russian Legation (sometime between 1986 and 1987).

The first place was taken by director Byun Young-joo's "Helpless". Tickets sales for "Helpless" went up to 14,780 showing promotional power.

Ha Jung-woo's two movies also got into top 10. "Love Fiction" in which Ha Jung-woo is a lame 30 year-old guy who hasn't been in a relationship even once gathered ticket sales of up to 2826 and made 6th place while "Nameless Gangster" made 899 in 9th place.
