The newspaper reported that Koreans have a strong desire to introduce the excellence of their country as they think Korea's national status is gone down especially compared to its economic size which stands near the world's top 10.

It also reported that Korean culture played an important role in the success of the country's conglomerates like Samsung and LG.The newspaper especially emphasized the government's strong support of the Korean Wave referring to the current administration's policy to make Korean culture a global brand.

It went on to point out some symbolic examples highlighting the worldwide popularity of the Korean Wavesuch as the over 40 K-Pop clubs in Peru and a number of Korean soap operas that were broadcast in Romania.

It also mentioned Chinese students and Japanese housewives going wild about Korean pop singers and actors saying that such a phenomenon puts the history of Korea being dominated by the two countries in the shade.

The German daily inferred that the Korean Wave would not be a temporary fad due to the systematic process Korean entertainment companies use to produce cultural contents.
