Get Ready For Enthralling K-Pop Stages

From this weekend, performances to enthrall K-pop fans are to follow one another.
On the release of their eighth album "State of the Art", six-member boy band Shinhwa will start their Asian tour in Seoul on Saturday. After holding concerts from Saturday to Sunday in the Olympic Park Gymnasium Hall in southern Seoul, they will tour other Asian countries including Japan, China, Singapore and Hong Kong until late this year.
The band's album will be released here on Thursday. Yet, even before its release, the album topped advance order sales at Korea's largest online music album shop Hottracks ( http://www.hottracks.co.kr ) and Japan's biggest online music album shop HMV ( http://www.hmv.co.jp ), only within one week since both shops opened advance sales in early May. Such popularity in Japan is a positive sign as the group's first Japanese single album will be released there in mid-June.
Shinhwa will present various repertoires including "Once in a Life Time", the title song of their new album. After the group sings the title song of their Japanese single album, the music video, which was shot in Japan, will be shown for the first time during the concert. Other than Shinhwa's trademark powerful dances, they will present a capella performances and documentary videos of the group, giving the audience a chance to have a peep into their lives offstage. Another choice for K-pop fans is the concert by popular male R&B duo Fly to the Sky, known for their sweet vocal ensembles. Since releasing their sixth album "Transition" in January, they have been topping various music charts and also participated in the OST of the now showing movie "Love Phobia".
The duo has been touring the country since late March, starting in Pusan. Under the title "Twice", their Seoul concert will be on an outdoor stage at War Memorial Hall in Yongsan, central Seoul, on May 20.
They will present their hit songs representing their seven-year music career including "Day By Day", "You Don't know", and "Promise". While being active on the music scene, both members, Fany and Brian Joo, have been extending their talents to other fields. While Brian Joo has been designated the new MC for MBC's music TV program "Show ! Se7en, Korea's representative heartthrob pop singer, will heat the stage of the new, live concert hall SEOUL-AX, southern Seoul, for the first time with three days of solo performances from June 2 to 4.
Since releasing his third album in February, Se7en has been going through the busiest schedule since his debut. With his title song "I know" gaining great popularity, the 22-year-old singer has also been under the international spotlight. Last week, he held two solo performances in Osaka, Japan, and also won the Favorite Korean Artist Award at the 2006 MTV Award in Bangkok, Thailand.
