The Korean family drama soap opera, "Giant", is about three siblings growing up pursuing revenge for their father's death; Lee Kang-Mo (Lee Beom-soo), his younger sister Lee Mi-Joo (Hwang Jung-eum) and his older brother Lee Sung-Mo (Park Sang-min).

The father was killed by Hwang Tae-Sub, a friend of his father, and Jo Pil-Yeon for their success. After the father's death, the whole family was separated and by cruel fate, Kang-Mo was raised by Hwang Tae-sub. Kang-Mo falls in love with Hwang Tae-Sub's daughter Hwang Jung-Yeon (Park Jin-hee), but they can't really be together as if they are Romeo and Juliet.

Both Hwang Tae-Sub and Jo Pil-Yeon (Jung Bo-suk) seem to be on the road to success.

Jo Pil-Yeon works as an agent for the Korean Intelligence Agency and Sung-Mo later gets picked by Pil-Yeon and works for him. Sung-Mo knows that Hwang Tae-Sub and Jo Pil-Yeon are the men who killed his father, so when he finds his brother Kang-Mo and they start planning revenge. While two brothers were planning revenge, Lee Mi-Joo loves Jo Min-Wook, son of Jo Pil Yeon, and carries his baby. She finds out the truth about his father's death after the pregnancy so she hides from everyone.
