Girl Group ITZY to Embark on World Tour in November

Girl group ITZY will begin their first world tour in November.

Their management agency JYP Entertainment teased the tour with posters and video clips on social media on Monday.

The tour, which will kick off in Jakarta on Nov. 2, will take the five-member group to about a dozen cities in Asia and the U.S.

They will perform in major Asian cities like Bangkok, Manila, Taipei and Singapore and also meet fans through their U.S. itinerary, which includes stops in Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York and ends in late January next year.

ITZY burst onto the K-pop scene early this year with their debut single released in February. A couple of songs from their follow-up mini album also topped several music charts here at the time of its release in July, making the group one of the hottest rookies so far this year.
