NHN Corporation, in charge of operating Naver, announced on Wednesday that the "2010 Naver Music Chart" revealed that Girls' Generation was the most-searched artist and girl group while their songs "Oh", "Hoot" and "Run Devil Run" ranked within the top ten most-downloaded songs in 2010.

"The Naver chart is meaningful since it counts for the millions of people who log onto the site to download and listen to music", an official from NHN was quoted as saying, adding that he hopes Naver will give various listeners easy access to music.

The "2010 Naver Music Chart" reflects the total number of music downloads, real-time ratings, real-time album chart and the accumulated number of times the artist was searched on the portal site.

The chart also revealed that miss A's debut single "Bad Girl Good Girl" was the most downloaded song in 2010 while other noteworthy songs on the list include 2NE1's "Go Away" in third place, Hot Potato's tune "Confession" in No. 5 and 2AM's "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" in eighth.

Meanwhile, five-member boy band SHINee became the most searched boy group, Jay Park and Lee Ji-eun were the most searched solo male and female artist, respectively, and Lady GaGa was the most-searched international singer.
