Gong Jung-hwan in "My Precious" with Shim Yi-young

Actor Gong Jung-hwan is starring in "My Precious".

The movie is about a man who had childhood cancer and a woman who decides to kill herself after failing to become a singer. Im Ji-kyu and Shim Yi-young have been cast as the main roles.

Gong Jung-hwan takes on the role of Park Eun-tae who takes care of Yena (Shim Yi-young) and leads her through the entertainment world. He adds conflict between Im Ji-kyu and Shim Yi-young.

The movie has a touching meaning to it as it was settled that the profits would be donated. The movie will participate in the Daum Contents Chairty and be co-produced by the Cultural Arts Charity Network and Yellow Rabbit. 40% of the profits will be donated to the childhood cancer foundation.

Meanwhile, Gong Jung-hwan took on the role of the Baekjae King Euija's son, Boo Yeo-woong in the KBS 1TV historical drama, "The Great King's Dream".
