Haeundae Beach Opens Early for Summer

Haeundae Beach in Busan, one of the hottest spots for summer holiday makers, opened on Thursday, a month earlier than beaches in other parts of the country.

It is a partial opening, and the whole sand beach will be open to the public from July 1.

Haeundae District Office said that it has made some facility improvements including shower booths and changing rooms.

During the peak season between July 25 and Aug. 8, the beach will be open at night until 9 p.m.
