Han Ji-min is starring in the movie "Secret Agent", which is a story about independence fighters during the Japanese Invasion. Han Ji-min plays Yeon Gye-soon, a female independence fighter.

Han Ji-min's role in "Secret Agent" is much like Jun Ji-hyun's role in "Assassination". Not only does the story portray the lives of female independence fighters who never got enough light, it shows that their spirit was as strong as any other man.

Thanks to Jun Ji-hyun's performance in the movie "Assassination", surviving female independence fighters are being re-highlighted. This 'hype' will follow on to Han Ji-min.

Song Kang-ho and Gong Yoo have already been cast for this movie but it took some time to find the right actress for Yeon Gye-soon. It wasn't easy finding someone to play a female independence fighter who developed their own life in a rough world and be in romance with Gong Yoo as well.

Several top actresses have been mentioned before but the opportunity went to Han Ji-min as she was perfect for someone who has to be many images.

"Secret Agent" is going to cost about 10 billion won. There's the fact that it's going to be based on the time of the Japanese Invasion as well as several explosive scenes and location filming in China too. It's also the first movie being produced with Warner Brothers from Hollywood after its declaration of getting involved with the Korean market.
