Han Kyu-won Shaves to Be a Monk for "Insider"

Actor Han Kyu-won plays the character of a monk in "Insider".

On the 11th, his agency JR ENT announced that Han Kyu-won will appear in JTBC's new drama "Insider".

"Insider" is an action suspense drama in which Kim Yo-han (Kang Ha-neul), a judicial trainee who falls into abyss during the infiltration investigation, struggles to grab his fate.

According to JR ENT, Han Kyu-won plays the role of monk Eom Ik-soo, who is a person who could not leave the gambling table even after losing one hand due to debt in the past. He becomes involved with Kim Yo-han, moving to catch the weaknesses of corrupt prosecutors in an unexpected incident. Han Kyu-won actually shaved his head to play the role of Ik-soo, a gambling house decoy and monk.

Han Kyu-won met viewers through various works such as "Let's Watch the Sunset", "The Guest - Drama", "Confession - Drama", "L.U.C.A. : The Beginning", "Drama Stage 2021 - Park Sung-sil's Fourth Industrial Revolution" and "Kingdom: Ashin of the North".

"Insider" is scheduled to premiere on June 8th.
