[HanCinema Korea's Diary] D-Cube City: Sindorim's New Mega Mall

D-Cube City may still be getting itself up and running but for the most part Sindorim's impressive new lifestyle complex is shaping up to be one of Korea's best. Boasting an array of entertainment options, shopping experiences, education programs, and lifestyle solutions all elegantly wrapped in eye-catching architecture.

The new complex sits right above Sindorim Station where subway line 1 and 2 converge. It's easy to get to and impossible to miss. D-cube City is not 100% complete as of yet as some features are still being constructed and tested. Attractions such as the D-Cube Park and the indoor waterfall have not been completed but if the conception art is anything to go by they are sure to impress.

The "Stripe Garden", the "Orchard Park", "Pine Hill Court", and the "Secret Gardens" all look stunning and will be well-enjoyed within the capital. The official website goes on to say that these new parks will be place within a 10,000 acreage that will host events all year round.

In addition to the greenery, the mall includes the "D-Cube Culture Centre" where children can "discover their talents and develop sensuality, humanities and culture classes". The new complex definitely has a lot to offer the kids with even an official "Pororo Park" to keep them begging to come back. D-Cubed is not a one-dimensional affair as the mall caters to an extremely broad market from businesses men looking for a classy lunch menu, young mothers shopping for the latest wears, twenty-somethings exploring the many fashion store, to families wanting a quality dinner experience. It's all there and more but one thing that stands out in particular is the food.

D-Cube City claims to have some 5,000 seats with over 4,000 menus to choose from. Now that may some like a lot, and it is, but a quick stroll through the mall and you'll understand that these claims might not be so far off. Theme restaurants are a plenty with a multitude of food courts that surely will satisfy any craving you might have. Want a traditional Korean dish? Then D-cube's "Korean Cuisine Street" is were you'd be headed. And expect to dine in comfort and glamour as each seating area is beautifully laid out and is staffed with some of the happiness people in the service industry I've ever seen. In addition to a Korean menu, the mall entices you with its "World Street Food" food court as well as the Chinese themed "China Feng". And even if a heavy lunch is not on the cards, there are still numerous cafes and drinks bars that will be begging you to take a break from the mall madness and refresh yourself.

There is truly an astonishing amount to D-Cube City and even more so when the parks are complete. It's been a long time coming but Sindorim now has a gorgeous new mega-mall that is definitely worth a visit.
