"Michelin names two 3-star eateries in first Seoul guide"

Seoul recently received its first food guide from Michelin that includes 24 star-worthy restaurants, two of which earned three-star status. "In order for Korean cuisine to be universalised, it must meet a universal standard and I think the Michelin listing will help Korean food become a more approachable cuisine for many people", said Kim Byoung Jin of Gaon, an executive chef who also doesn't like to complicate things: "All good food starts from fresh ingredients".
