Daumsoft, an artificial intelligence company, has analysed Korea's online activity and revealed some interesting information about their shifting food preferences. According to new information, for example, mentions of fried chicken are on the rise: since 2011, fried chicken came up "846.19 million times on Internet blogs and 1.25 billion times on Twitter". In related news, the nation's comfort food of choice (black bean sauce noodles-a favourite on Black Day for singles) may soon be downgraded.

According to research, food delivery apps are a popular alternative for single households, and companies and developers have responded by filling that demand. One top mobile delivery company earned $74.8 million last year, up an astonishing 71% from the previous year.
