Many foreign news outlets have a close eye on Korea now that the Winter Games are underway. In this piece on The Guardian, Linda Lee has compiled a great list of some of Seoul's best restaurants for you to flag for your next visit. "From a fried-chicken joint to a Michelin-star blow out, the Seoul-born founder of three Korean London restaurants picks her favourite places to eat in the South Korean capital". Mingle, for example, is a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in Cheongdam-dong district that serves "modern Korean dishes which are true to traditional Korean tastes". And if that's too fancy, Hanchu in Apgujeong is one of the best chicken-and-beer joints around.
