"Retired Korean spreads joy with funeral photographs"

A retired construction executive, Kim Kwang-ahn, is using his retirement time and photography skills to take portraits of the elderly: "I think that taking a portrait allows your memories to be remembered by others", Kim says. Kim use to take pictures of the elderly to be used at their funerals, but now also visits parks twice a week with his wife to help serve the community in quite an unexpected way.

This phenomena is very active in Korea, and sooner or later you can expect to find some of their school photographs online. I guess there is some satisfaction in knowing that their sleek and tailored images once looked rather normal-what a surprise, right?
