"Mobile game designed by President's son unveiled"

South Korea has a new president, but did you know his son, Joon-yong, is a mobile game developer? President Moon Jae-in's son recently launched his new game, a historical role-playing game called "Majestia" for Android and iOS. "My son used to play Nintendo games from when he was at elementary school. Now he is working as a graphic designer thanks to his childhood experience of playing games", said President Moon about his son's creative evolution.

"Watch: South Koreans have replaced photographs with 3D figures of themselves"

Thanks to advances in 3D technology, a company in South Korea is able to offer its customers the chance to get a lifelike figurine of themselves (or their pet). "It needs about one hundred DSLR cameras placed at different angles, all of them simultaneously taking 2D photos, to get an accurate 3D model". The figures themselves are "made using more than 1,000 layers of gypsum powder. These figures are then painted according to the photographs". Will dioramas eventually replace the family photo album?
