The Halloween weekend has pronounced Lee Han's "Punch" as number one with another steady weekend showing. "Punch" added close to 600,000 admissions to its gains as the film's popularity continues to gather momentum. The film now sits with 1.5 million tickets sold, clutching the bulk of moviegoers this week away from the rest of the pack.

"Reel Steel" has now more than 2 million admissions accumulated in Korea, 355,383 of which coming from this past weekend. A fair distance behind is Andrew Niccol's "In Time", a sci-fi thriller starring Justine Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy. That means that "Always" slips down a spot from last week, but only just, with 173,033 admissions to its credit.
Sohn Young-sung's "The Client" marks the ticket watershed with just 39,924 being added to its total of 2,367,018. Will Gluck's romantic comedy "Friends with Benefits" follows, earning 29,920 in its opening weekend in Korea. "The Three Musketeers" is down two places with 28,755 to settle at seven.
"Silenced" has had a phenomenal run but it seems the public has it their fill for now. The much talked about film has had 4,640,739 tickets sold and has raised public awareness in the process. It scrapped only 27,994, just pushing past the new Korean film "A Reason to Live". Lastly, "The Tree of Life" hits the Korean circuit with a 19,205 strong splash. Terrence Malick's drama stars Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain. "The Tree of Life" premiered at 2011 Cannes Film Festival and won the top prize, the Palme d'Or.
