[HanCinema's News] Choi Dae-hoon Appears in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo"

Actor Choi Dae-hoon has a big upcoming role this November, when he'll play the lead in upcoming legal drama "One Dollar Lawyer" which will feature Namkoong Min in the leading role. In the meantime, Choi Dae-hoon is getting practice in the genre with a brief role in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" which is airing on ENA. There he plays Jang Seung-joon, a rival lawyer of the character played by Kang Ki-young, the mentor for the law firm where the title character works.

In his appearance, Choi Dae-hoon struck a humorous vibe, which was appropriate for the relatively light-hearted comedy. But the image is a big departure from how Choi Dae-hoon appeared in his most recent project, "Decision to Leave" from famed director Park Chan-wook. There, Choi Dae-hoon played the role of a doctor at a sleep clinic who tries to assist the lead character played by Park Hae-il with his persistent insomnia.

Choi Dae-hoon is having a busy year in general. He'll also appear in "The Good Detective - Season 2" later this month, and is also appearing in the ongoing crime drama "Insider" which also deals with legal elements. Choi Dae-hoon has been more and more of a familiar face in the South Korean entertainment industry in recent years. The most popular work in which he has appeared is most likely "Crash Landing on You" where he played the older brother of Son Ye-jin's character.
