[HanCinema's News] Dexter Studios Gets Six Million Dollars to Produce VFX for "Ashfall"

The special effects for "Ashfall", the latest film starring Ha Jung-woo, Bae Suzy, and Lee Byung-hun, will be handled by Dexter Studios. The contract is for seven billion won, or about six million dollars.

Dexter Studios is best known for their work on "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days". Their other filmwork includes "1987: When the Day Comes", "The Pirates", and "Mr. Go". They also did special effects for the dramas "Hyde, Jekyll, and I" and "Splendid Politics".
A representative for Dexter Studios expressed pleasure at their having the opportunity to work on an original intellectual property. "Ashfall" began production in February of this year, and is expected to release around the holiday season.
