On July 8th Go Ara posted a picture of herself on Instagram doing pilates stretching on her ankle. The tone was optimistic. In a message she mentioned how she can bend down to her knee now.
The picture is an explanation of what Go Ara has been doing since her successful run as the female lead on "Haechi". While shooting the drama Go Ara incurred an ankle injury back in March and while she was able to get back to work, eventually the damage was severe enough that she was not able to appear on the drama as much as had been hoped for the latter sections.
Until Go Ara has made a complete recovery it is unlikely that she is going to take on another physically intensive drama role. Fortunately, she appears to be making good progress.
