Heo Joon-suk is undergoing a major role reversal. In "Extreme Job", he had a bit role as the business-oriented nerd who persuades the hapless leads to franchise their fake fried chicken restaurant for malicious purposes.

Now, he will play a cop of unknown involvement in the central mystery of "Daughter - 2019". Here, the question at hand will be what happened to the title characeter during her twenty five year disappearance. Song Ji-hyo will star in that title role.

Also of interest if writer/director Sohn Won-pyung. In addition to being a novelist, Sohn Won-pyung made her public debut as a film critic for Cine21 back in 2001. She has also studied at the Korean Film Academy, where she directed some short independent films.

Sohn Won-pyung has received awards for these short films at the Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival and the Seoul Women's Film Festival.
