[HanCinema's News] "Innocent Witness" Passes 2.4 Million Admissions

According to the Korean Film Council, "Innocent Witness" had 35,860 admissions on Sunday. This brings it current total to 2,421,612. It's ranking was third for the day and fourth for the weekend.

These results were vastly outperformed by the newly released Captain Marvel. Still, they indicate resilience as "Innocent Witness" has survived being supplanted by newer films that have lacked Captain Marvel's massive marketing power. "Innocent Witness" was released on February 13th, but has remained a fixture in multiplexes largely on the strength of word of mouth reccommendations.
"Innocent Witness", about the relationship between a defense lawyer and an autistic teenage girl. It stars Jung Woo-sung and Kim Hyang-gi in the leading roles.
